Refined Incantation
The Refined Incantation Gem is a very useful item for making combo attacks easier to perform and maximizing the damage caused by debuffs. It increases the duration of status effects inflicted on enemies by the equipped character. At Refined Incantation, I it increases the duration by 25%, and at Refined Incantation X, it increases the duration by 50%.
This can be useful inconjunction with debuff inflicting artslike the Flash Fencer’s “Hidden Thorn” or the Tactician’s “Dark Banner”. It also pairs well with arts that inflict break, topple, launch, smash, daze, and burst, giving players some precious extra seconds to inflict the next stage of the combo.
Swelling Scourge
The counterpart to Refined Incantation, Swelling Scourge provides the same benefits, but to the power of status effects rather than their duration. Pairing these gems together makes for a very potent combo when using debuff-heavy classes and setups.
Steady Striker & Doublestrike
Steady Striker is best on Agnus classes, which recharge their arts by attacking and thus benefit from the increased attack speed. The additional damage output can also be handy,especially when paired with the Doublestrike Gem to allow for even more hits.Since Keves classes equip Agnus class skills as master arts this effect is beneficial for them also, allowing them to pull off fusion arts faster.
Steady Striker boosts attack speed by 15% at I and 40% at X, and Doublestrike’s chance to hit twice is 15% at I and 40% at X.
Empowered Combo
Empowered Combo is a must on attackers,allowing them to deal even more additional damageby canceling their auto-attack into their arts. This damage boost can make even the deadliest of arts more effective at burning through enemy health. At I it boosts the damage bonus by 25%, while X boosts it by 75%.
Analyze Weakness
A must for Crit heavy character builds, Analyze Weakness increases critical damage by 20% at I and 70% at X. Not much more to say about it, it’s just fantastic on characters who score critical hits reliably.
