That trend is now continuing withPAW Patrol World, the newest game based on the popular IP that was just added to Microsoft’s subscription service as of the early morning hours ET on March 7, some five months following its 2023 release. Much like Outright’s other recent titles,PAW Patrol Worldadds to the list ofXbox Game Pass games with a local co-op mode. Although split-screen multiplayer has become a rarity nowadays, it is still a fairly common feature in games catering to the youngest audiences.
PAW Patrol Worldis not the first Outright-distributed title to have made its way to Microsoft’s content catalog in recent weeks; the publisher also broughtBluey: The Videogameto Xbox Game Passin late February. Looking at the company’s track record of XGP releases, it is plausible thatPAW Patrol Worldwill enjoy a lengthy stint on the service. This has also been the case with its three predecessors, two of which are still available on Xbox Game Pass as of March 2024, years after originally reaching its content catalog.

As for the release at hand,PAW Patrol Worldcontinues the trend of titles being added to Xbox Game Pass without DLC. That notwithstanding, this free-roaming action adventure doesn’t offer any extra content beyond a handful of $4.99 costume packs, some of which are even available to Xbox Game Pass members at a 10% discount as of March 7.
