World of Warcrafthas revealed the rewards players can earn from the Niffen Renown faction in Patch 10.1,Embers of Neltharion. These adorable mole people giveWorld of Warcraftplayers access to some down-to-earth cosmetics and activities to keep them coming back for more.
Embers of Neltharionis coming toWorld of Warcraftsoon. In addition to the massivenewDragonflightzone called Zaralek Cavern, Aberrus raid, and a continuation of the story, Patch 10.1 also introduces the Niffen from the town of Loamm. These kind, Midwest mole folk are native to the subterranean zone and are a new Renown faction players can earn reputation with to unlock special rewards.

With Patch 10.1 now on theWorld of WarcraftPublic Test Realm, players have a good idea as to what sorts of rewards they can get through the Loamm Niffen faction. By raising their Renown with the Loamm Niffen, players can unlock a myriad of features. Some of these, like Shadowflame Crests and Flightstones, will help players gear up to take on raids andMythic+ dungeons inDragonflight, while others, like Snail Racing and Sniffenseeking, will provide fun activities to occupy their time.
Plenty of cosmetic rewards are available through Niffen Renown as well. Players canearn newDragonflightDragonriding customizations, armor sets, and titles through this new faction. Models for a one-handed sword and axe shaped like a shovel and pickaxe respectively have also been discovered, allowing players to easily make battle transmogs themed after archeology or mining.
A recent build of theEmbers of NeltharionPTR also added models for the mount and battle pets players can earn through the Niffen Renown track. The Morsel Sniffer is a shalewing flying mount similar in appearance to the sporebats fromBurning Crusade. Though this mount can’t be used withDragonriding inDragonflight, its unique appearance still makes it quite valuable to mount collectors. Meanwhile, the Paulie and Rango beetle pets are perfect for any pet battle enthusiasts or bug lovers.
These are just a few of the highlights from Renown track for the Loamm Niffen faction inEmbers of Neltharion. As players earn reputation with the Niffen and gain Renown, they can unlock many of these rewards through Harlowe Marl, the faction quartermaster in exchange for Dragon Isles Supplies. With 20 Renown levels coming to the new Niffen faction inEmbers of Neltharion, players will have plenty of rewards to look forward to as they explore everythingDragonflightPatch 10.1 has to offer when it releases on May 2.
