Time Rifts will takeWorld of Warcraftplayers to alternate realities of the timelineof Azeroth to prevent history from unraveling. Players can earn Paracausal Flakes by completing quests and collecting relics from these alternate realities, then trade them to a series of vendors to unlock collectibles themed after each universe. One such item, the Pauldrons of the Fire Lord, are identical to the flaming shoulder armor of Ragnaros. The cosmetic costs 1100 Paracausal Flakes, and can be used by any class.

Ragnaros is not only one of the most iconic raid bosses inWorld of Warcraft–he is also one of its first. Ragnaros and Onyxia were the only two raids available whenWoWlaunched, and Ragnaros was considered to be harder. The iconic elemental lordreturned inWorld of Warcraft:Cataclysmduring the Firelands raid with the high-resolution model the Pauldrons of the Fire Lord are taken from, and is a playable DPS hero inHeroes of the Storm.

It is no exaggeration to say Ragnaros is the first to come to mind when fansthink of raiding inWorld of Warcraft, so players are understandably excited to collect this particular transmog. The fact that this shoulder armor was taken directly from the Firelord’s model, and that characters of any class can use it, means some players are already thinking up transmogs for the item once they collect it. Fans cannot wait to see what other exciting cosmetics they will be able to collect in Time Rifts once Patch 10.1.5 drops.

Players who enjoy dressing up like raid bosses are in luck with Patch 10.1.5.World of Warcraftis adding a skip to the Siege of Orgrimmarraid that makes farming Garrosh for the Tusks of Mannoroth he wears much faster, and players can collect the high-res version of Gorehowl from the new Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. Fractures in Time may not be a major content patch, but it still packs plenty of new things for players to do until Patch 10.2 arrives.

World of Warcraftis available now for PC.
