There are three classes that a character can be a part of inWildermyth— Warrior, Hunter, and Mystic. The former is one of the most important classes inWildermyth, with Warriors essentially drawing all the attention of most enemies and staying on the frontlines while Hunters and Mystics pick enemies off from a distance. Here are some of the best Warrior builds that players can employ inWildermyth.

10Melee Whirlwind

A Warrior can hit like a truck and generally turns most foes into mincemeat with a single strike. However, what makes a Warrior truly powerful is when they have the ability to hit multiple times in one go.

Abilities like Battledance and Heroism go a long way inhelping Warriors dish out a ton of pain at a moment’s notice. Hitting a multitude of enemies in one go is pretty satisfying and shows just how powerful the potential of the Warrior class really is.

9Slamming Expert

The Backslam is one of the best abilities in the game, especially since it’s a Swift Action too!It lets players smack enemies like toysand forces them to a spot of the player’s choosing.

The best part about Backslam is that it deals damage equivalent to the character’s total Armor. So, if players are smart enough, then they can deal a ton of damage by using this ability with Warriors who have a ton of Armor to spare.

8Wounded Soldier

This build requires players to accept the fact that their Warrior is going to lose a bit of health during a fight. However, with Bloodrage, this turns out to be a good thing since players can essentially smack foes silly after getting hurt.

Bloodrage increases the total damage dealt by a Warrior when they’re wounded. The upgrade adds a Swift Action that lets a player tank damage and not die during a turn, which is helpful if players want to make the most of this ability without biting off more than they could chew.

7Efficient Attacker

Attacking multiple enemies in one go is a great way tomaximize overall damage inWildermyth. With Warriors, doing the same can lead to multiple enemies biting the dust in one go.

Aside from Battledance, players can also use Broadswipes to hit all enemies in range for substantial damage. This can be paired well with weapons that have a longer range like a spear, while certain melee counters are also a great way to make the most of a Warrior’s high Block and/or Dodge to deal additional damage.

6Attention Seeker

Wildermythis pretty adamant about the factthat Warriors are essentially tanks that can absorb the most damage in the party. This can be incorporated into a strategy after players get the Engage ability.

Engaging enemies forces them to only attack the character who has used this ability. It also gives an Armor bonus per every enemy who’s engaged, which is increased with the upgrade.

5Guarding Expert

Warriors have an innate ability called Guardianthat lets them perform a Reaction Strike on an enemy who comes within range of an attack. Suffice to say, weapons that enhance a character’s range make Guardian way more effective.

Players who want great range with this technique can replace Guardian with Sentinel instead. It lets players leap in the way of a moving enemy and strike them, with the upgrade stopping these foes in their track too!

4Armor Shredder

Armor is a double-edged sword, serving as a source of either constant relief or irritation based on how it affects the player. Enemies with a ton of armor can be a pain to defeat, mainly due to how much damage they can potentially absorb.

This is where abilities like Shieldshear come in handy. Warriors with this ability can take off a chunk of armor from an enemy as a Swift Action, letting them use a normal attack to shave off more health with ease.

3Defensive Nightmare

Stalwart is one of the best early-game abilities that players can have on their Warrior, especially one who doesn’t have great armor from the get-go. This ability enhances the Armor and Warding of a character at the expense of their movement speed.

Since Stalwart is a Swift Action, most people can make a move before activating it, which negates the movement penalty somewhat. The upgrade also prevents any Status Effects from affecting the character, which is a pretty substantial bonus.

2The Intimidator

One of the best andmost fun abilities to use inWildermythis the Thundering Challenge. This basically lets characters put enemies in a state of fear, forcing them to run away from the sheer might of the player.

Thundering Challenge covers a great area when it’s upgraded, giving players some much-needed breathing room if they’re being hounded by enemies. It’s a great ability to have early on if mobs of enemies are causing a ton of problems for the player.

1Fast And Deadly

There are abilities that let Warriors enhance the speed of both themselves and their comrades. Wolfcall gives every character bonus speed when a Warrior with this ability fells a foe.

Along with this, there’s another ability that players love to use, and that’s the Zealous Leap. It lets characters move a bunch of spaces and leap over obstacles, enemies, friends, and anything else that might stand in their way.
