Created by aMinecraftYouTuber called Dream, Minecraft Manhunt is essentially a game that sees one player attempt to defeat the Ender Dragon and beatMinecraftbefore a group of three hunters track them down and kill them. The hunters have infinite lives and solely set out to prevent their victim from reaching the game’s credits, while their prey has one singular life that they have to preserve. From that description alone, it’s clear the challenge is a difficult one, with the player being hunted having to deal with the onslaught of three players setting out to end their run while simultaneously fending off monsters in the open-world and eventually theEnder Dragonitself.
Of course, this high skill barrier means the game mode is often favored by adeptMinecraftYouTubers, with the man behind the concept, Dream, dropping a number of incredible videos documenting how intense Minecraft Manhunt can get. His most recent release, “Minecraft Speedrunner vs 3 hunters FINALE REMATCH,” is actually the reason the mode is trending, with the battle between Dream and his three friends coming with a whole host of incredible moments. The one that seems to have struck the biggest chord with fans came when the YouTuber was flung from aNether portalhe crafted in the sky to what many assumed would be his certain death just for him to scramble onto the back of a horse on the ground below, negating any fall damage.
Another occurred when theMinecraftYouTuberwas navigating the Nether, with Dream falling into the area’s sea of lava before narrowly saving himself by hitching a ride on the back of a nearby Strider as he rode to safety. Hopefully, fans will get to see even more Minecraft Manhunt in the coming months.
