Square Enix has been putting a lot of emphasis on not only its AAA game market, but also its mobile gaming demographic as well. From the upcoming mobile battle royaleFinal Fantasy 7 First SoldiertoWar of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, there has been a lot of movement from the company in this space.Brave Exviusin particular has been keeping players active in variety of ways, such as collaborations with other games and franchises.
Most of the collaborations withWar of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exviushave been other Square Enix games. This includesFinal Fantasy 7 Remake,Nier Automata,and even acollaboration withTomb Raider. As such, many of the crossovers forWar of the Visions: Final FantasyBrave Exviushave so far only been for properties that are owned by Square Enix. That being said, the most recent collaboration that was announced to be coming to the game will be an exception, with Atlus’Persona 5 Royalbeing featured.

The trailer shows that three ofPersona 5’s Phantom Thieveswill be added as Ultra Rare units to the game. These include the charismatic leader Joker as well as his partner, second-in-command, and strategist Queen. Violet, who joined the team inPersona 5 Royal, will also appear.The three of them will use their personas to attack the enemy, and will have special attacks that are beautiful re-creations of their All-Out-Attack animations.
Moreover, three bosses fromPersona 5will be added toWar of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, those being Cognitive Kamoshida, Kaneshiro, and Niijima in a special event quest. The maps these three bosses will be fought in also resemble their boss arenas from the original game, such as a bank vault for Kaneshiro and a casino roulette table for Niijima. Completing this quest will allow players to acquire materials that can help level up these new units as well recipes for Joker’s knife and Queen’s Brass Knuckle weapons.
This surprising collaboration event will be running from July 03, 2025 to Jun 24, 2025, where players can getPersona 5’s Joker and Queenon December 22. Violet will come a bit later on January 1st. The event will only be available for Japanese players at this time, though it’s likely coming to the west version at a later date, as new content usually arrives about a few months later.
