Lone developer Luca Galante’sVampire Survivorshas been in early access since late last year but is set to get a full release on October 20.Vampire Survivorsfans have been using the growing arsenal of weapons to dispatch droves of enemies since early access began in December 2021, but the full experience is just beginning next month.
SinceVampire Survivors' early access began, Luca Galante has kept fans updated on what to expect from future patches through videos on the Poncle YouTube channel, and the latest post is mostly a hype montage on how far the game has come. The aforementioned YouTube channel recently released this update trailer forVampire Survivorswhich concludes by revealing the October 20 release date, bringing the Halloween-themed game out just days before the spooky holiday. Given the regular alterations made toVampire Survivorsso far, October’s 1.0 patch may just be the first of many in the game’s full releasecontent roadmapas weapons and abilities or enemy types are adjusted.

TheVampire Survivorsupdate 1.0 trailer begins by showing what characters, weapons, power-ups, and more were available during the game’s first month of early access. As the video goes on to highlight different months, the gameplay and relevant statistics change to reflect the time that had passed. By the final month of September with theVampire Survivors0.11 client, theVampire Survivorscharacter list has reached 24, with 14 extras and one guest, the weapons and power-ups reached 72, there are 7 major relics, 10 stages to choose from, and a whopping 22 Arcanas.
Although each month in theVampire Survivorsupdate 1.0 clip includes the compatible stats alongside them, Luca Galante failed to disclose any information about the upcoming major patch beyond its release date. Because it evolved through the early access period, it’s likely that patch 1.0 will bring with it tons of additions to the established content that fans have already been exploring. Because of its popularity and retention through early access, and its inclusionin the Game Pass PC lineup, the full release ofVampire Survivorsmay broaden the community and inspire further content updates.
