ProfessionalValorantplayer Hunter “SicK” Mims was arrested again for trespassing. Thefirst time SicK was arrestedwas back in March after getting into an argument with staff and refusing to leave a car dealership in Texas.Following SicK’s first arrest, he was suspended from his organization, Sentinels, and was benched from itsValorantteam. Sentinels CEO Rob Moore said that they would be supporting SicK during this difficult time. The organization has also contacted the player’s family to help with the situation. Before the incident at the car dealership, SicK took a break from playing professionally due to his poor health, and later came back as asubstitute player for the Sentinels team.RELATED:Valorant Team Forfeits After Player Gets Distracted By Honkai: Star RailOver the weekend, SicK posted a series of strange tweets and streamed on Twitch while seemingly under the influence, which concerned many people, including former teammate Shahzeb “ShahZam” Khan. Shortly after, Esports journalist George Geddes reported that SicK had been arrested a second time for criminal trespassing, the same reason as last March. Geddes emphasized that theValorantplayer was not a bad person, and that he has been unwell recently, adding that Sentinels was working closely with SicK’s family to try and support him during this trying time.

On Twitter, many Esports fans were shocked by SicK’s second arrest, and hoped that someone would get him help for whatever he’s going through. There were also some people expressing their concern over the player’s current state, with one suggesting that he shouldn’t be living alone and should have someone to watch over him. As of writing, Sentinels has not released a statement about the situation.

Before SicK was arrested, ShahZam had asked theValorantcommunity on Twitter to ignore his former teammate’s tweets and erratic behavior for now, promising that this was not who he was. This was echoed by Geddes, who said that SicK was one of the kindest people he had met. Many fans also called out insensitive people who joked about SicK’s situation after Twitch clips circulated on social media, where he was seen slurring his words.

Mental health problems are no joke, and whilemany streamers have opened up about dealing with them, it’s still concerning to see someone potentially going through it so publicly.
