InTower of Fantasy, fully completing a chapter will grant players various rewards, including potent omnium crystals (level-up material), multiple gold nucleus (currency for the permanent gacha), gold, anddark crystals (the premium currency of the game). However, in order for the player to earn these rewards, there are a few mandatory side quests in each chapter’s progression.
Despite being mandatory for chapter progression, a few of the required side quests are hidden and un-marked. If the player does not know where to find them, they’ll have a hard time completing the chapter. One such mandatory hidden quest is called Ark, and completing it is required to fully complete the 4th chapter of the Aesperia region inTower of Fantasy. Fortunately, the Ark quest is not that complicated once players know where to look.

Starting the Ark Quest
To begin the Ark quest line inTower of Fantasy, players will need to head to the coordinates(405.5, 305.4)pictured above. These coordinates are located directly following the path from the Miners' Camp in theCrown Mines (eastern region of Aesperia). Near these coordinates will be a “mysterious letter” sitting on a crate (also pictured above). Reading this letter will begin the Ark quest line. If the letter can’t be interacted with, players likely already have the quest started.
Finding Anne and Cassica
After reading the letter, players must interact witha mother and daughterhaving a conversation just nearby. These two NPCs are not difficult to find, and should be located directly to the left of the player if looking at the mysterious letter from the same angle as in the images above. Upon eavesdropping on these NPCs, it is immediately time for the next part of the quest.
Finding Fred
The next step in this quest is equally easy as the last, and players still will not need to leave the area. The NPC whom players are looking for now, Fred, will be asleep on the porch right next to where the mysterious letter was located. A picture is provided above for ease of recognizing the NPC.
Finding the Lumina and the Unknown Miners
For this step, players will head towards agrounded ship known as the Lumina. The Lumina is located to the south of the Crown Omnium Tower and to the southeast of the Research Lab (District 4). Fortunately, the Lumina ship is indicated on the map, so it should be quite easy for players to locate. The coordinates of the Lumina teleport are located at(788.0, 670.4).
Once players have successfully located the Lumina ship, the goal is to find two ghostly figures on the ship named Unknown Miner A and Unknown Miner B (pictured above). These two NPCs are located one level above the ramp that leads to the top of the Lumina. Simply climb the ramp, and then double-jump or climb up one level. From here, talk to the miners and follow the quest path that shows up afterward.
Heading Back to Hykros
The final step of the Ark quest line is to head back to Hykros, thefloating city from which players have traveled back and forththroughout the game.Teleport to any unlocked Omnium Tower, and use the Tower to head back to Hykros. Talking to the NPC named Adacs will end the Ark quest line, and assuming everything else was already done, will finish this chapter of the Aesperia storyline.
