The Witcherspecial holiday-themed social media campaign continues to roll on. Aptly named “Witchmas”, the six-day fest of carefully written inquiries directed at fans craving moreWitchercontent continues to share plenty of snippets previously hidden behind the scenes of Netflix’s hit series.

Using this outlet,The Witcher’smarketing team had already put out some first look images at items featured in the show’s second season, a glimpse at whatJaskier’s career as a model would look like, and even a new entry inThe Witcher’sbestiary, giving an in-depth take on all the monsters Geralt encountered during the first season.

AsThe Witchercontinues to build hype for its second season, this new episode of Witchmas started by asking fans if they would rather test destiny with the tried and tested law of surprise or choose “Moment of Blooper Madness”. This time though, fans decided to switch things up a bit and passed on the law of surprise to get a chance to see some pretty funny bloopers.

Though the video is only a minute long, just the mere opportunity to spot the very rare smiling Geralt of Rivia alone makes it worth watching. Aside from that, there’s plenty of misspoken dialogue,Henry Cavill dealing with the hasslesof being constantly sweaty and shirtless, as well as some technical difficulties courtesy of Roach, Geralt’s beloved equine friend.

As usual, showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich commented on the tweet’s misdirection to lean fans away from the law of surprise with the promise of bloopers, but also sharing an anecdote of her own about “the time I got stuck in a toilet in Budapest.” Whatever is there to come for the rest of Witchmas, everyone involved inThe Witchersure seems to enjoy working on it and making the best ofthe Continent’s particular brand of humor.

Hopefully, all that carries over to season two, in which the writers are already said to have plans to change their approach to storytelling, mainly becauseThe Witcher’sfirst season took care of introducing all their main characters using a lot of time skips which were one of themain gripes critics had with the show.

The Witcherseason two is coming to Netflix in 2021.
