After a match onthe popular Shipment map,Modern Warfare 2player and Reddit user u/xoenvious uploaded a strange clip of an enemy Juggernaut dying after being shot in the head by a Signal .50 caliber sniper rifle. The player on the receiving end of the headshot was amazed by how quickly he was put out of action by the sniper rifle since the Juggernaut was at full health. The Juggernaut’s swift death is speculated to be the result of a bug affecting the killstreak, while others believe the killstreak is too weak in its current state.
Various Reddit users cite the Juggernaut’s head as a consistent weak spot, which means the killstreak was no match for a well-landed shot from the player firing the Signal .50 sniper rifle. Further,Modern Warfare 2players have easily defeated Juggernautswith shotgun blasts and melee attacks recently as well. Due to the Juggernaut’s lack of resilience against snipers, some players have opted to ignore the killstreak altogether.
An inconsistent health bug may be the cause of the Juggernaut’s swift demise at the hand of an enemy player. Some players are able to take down a Juggernaut quite easily while others have seen their sniper bullets barely damage its armor. It will be interesting to see if Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward investigate the matter to rule out inconsistencies inModern Warfare 2’smultiplayer and properly assess the viability of the Juggernaut killstreak.
