A creativeSkyrimfan has taken inspiration from the game’s iconic Dragon Priest staves and mask, and has hand-carved them in real-life life using wood as their main medium. Given their limited number and how Dragonborns can actually collect their masks when defeated, Dragon Priests are one of themost popular enemies inSkyrim. So, it is not a wonder that fans have developed a fondness for these powerful foes.

This is not the first time that aSkyrimfan has recreated the different elements and features that complete the Dragon Priest look in real life. Some focus their creative efforts on making ultra-realistic masks that can actually be worn, while others focus on their iconic weapons that can be displayed at home. Recently, one fan even3D-printed the entire Dragon Priest armor, which gained the notice of Jonah Lobe, the creator of the game’s Dragon Priest characters. However, other fans, like thisSkyrimplayer, decided to use traditional materials and carved the mask and weapons out of wood, by hand.

Showing off their crafty skills on Reddit, user t_sekuloski posted a photo of theSkyrimDragon Priest maskand staves that they had created. Fellow fans seemed to have nothing but admiration for the Redditor’s work, given just how detailed the mask and weapons were in the shared image.Skyrimplayers will likely appreciate the fine etchings on both pieces, especially since the artist chose to use a less malleable material like wood. Given that both these items are dropped when defeating these foes in-game, it seemed only appropriate that t_sekuloski bundled them together in their post.

As of writing, the Reddit thread already has over 130 comments, with many replies sharing how impressed they are with the Redditor’s work. Many expressed that they were interested in purchasing either the mask or theSkyrimDragon Priest staffs, to which the Redditor gave consistent replies to. T_sekuloski also shared a YouTube video in 2018 of their creative process, showing off that they have had practice with woodcarving for quite some time already. For those curious about the material they used, the Dragon Priest staff carved in the YouTube video was made out of walnut wood.

According to the t_sekuloski’s Reddit profile, they have consistently been posting a lot of their handcarved pieces on the online forums in the past few years. And it seems that fellowSkyrimfans still cannot get over how amazing their pieces look. Hopefully, that fans will see moreSkyrim-related woodworks from the artist in the future.
