She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawfeatured many of its prominent characters coming together for a big brawl, before She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) broke the fourth-wall and demanded rewrites to the scene. As it turns out, however, the big cameo by Skaar was requested by Kevin Feige himself.
She-Hulk’s finale featured Jennifer Walters discovering that the Hulk King was Jon Bass' Todd, a man she had previously gone on a date with. Fortunately, she had no problem defeating him through some fourth-wall smashing and celebrated by throwing a party filled withguests that included Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock.

Ultimately, the biggestShe-Hulkcameo was Hulk’s son Skaar(played in motion capture by Wil Deusner), a character from the comics who might have huge ramifications in the future of the MCU. In an interview withVariety, creator and head writer Jessica Gao explained that while they had always been thinking of doing a big cameo to cap off the show, it was Kevin Feige himself who decided it had to be Skaar. “From the beginning, we often talked about if there would there be a cameo at the end or, in typical Marvel fashion, would we tease a new character at the very end,” Gao said. “A big cameo would be completely dependent on who was available and who was willing to do it, and you may’t really bank on that at the script stage. We talked a lot about what character we could tease. Ultimately, it was Kevin who decided it should be Skaar. His look is all Kevin Feige.”
Meanwhile, director and executive producer Kat Coiro explained why the writers decided to bring Daredevil back for a quick cameo in the season finale. Basically, it all came down to Cox and Maslany’s chemistry. “We all knew that Daredevil had to come back because people love him and their chemistry is so great.“Daredevil’s return had been a high point of the series, and his chemistry with She-Hulk was undeniable (it helps that he was the only decent man Jen dated, too).
While the big plans behind Skaar’s introduction into the MCU have yet to be revealed, the character originated as a result of thePlanet Hulkstoryline in the comics. This storyline was partially adapted for the MCU in 2017’sThor: Ragnarok,which saw the God of Thunder team up with the Hulk on Sakaar.
The introduction of multiple Hulk characters could be hinting at a future project involving theWorld War Hulk storylinefrom the comics. It would have to be heavily adapted to fit the MCU, but now that Hulk, She-Hulk, and Skaar are around, there’s a perfect opportunity for a team-up. Plus, Abomination was freed in the post-credits by Wong (Benedict Wong), meaning he’s free to appear as well. Though the finale ultimately dropped the plotline about Todd taking Hulk serum, the idea is clearly there, and it’s possible Red Hulk and Red She-Hulk are on the horizon.
