The recentResident Evil 4remake helped to revive interest in the legendary Capcom title and its Medallion shooting side quest. However, rather than justdestroyingResident Evil 4’s Blue Medallions, Reddit user KatrinaWho created one of her own, hanging it up in her window. The final result is an impressively detailed art piece that looks more like something crafted from stained glass and metal than the EVA foam that KatrinaWho used.

In the originalResident Evil 4, players would find the Blue Medallions hanging scattered around the Farm and Cemetery levels in Chapter 1. TheResident Evil 4remake rolled them into the Blue Notice Requests, with players encountering Blue Medallions at multiple points throughout the game. The games never directly explain what the Blue Medallions are, though they bear the emblem of the Los Iluminados cult and presumably carry some significance to its members.Resident Evil 4’s iconic yet enigmatic Weapons Merchant rewards protagonist Leon Kennedy for destroying the Medallions scattered around parts of Valdelobos.

Resident Evil 4fanswere very impressed with KatrinaWho’s creation after she shared two photos of it on theResident Evilsubreddit. The artist jokingly requested thatResident Evil 4fans not shoot the Medallion through her window, with several commenters joking about how tempting a target it made.

Other more serious comments said they’d happily buy the Blue Medallion. But, unfortunately, KatrinaWho only has one, and it’s not for sale. However, the artist also said she was thinking of making a tutorial or setting up an Etsy store, so the real-life version ofthis iconicResident Evil 4collectiblemay not be out of reach forever.

Resident Evil 4is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
