The Hollow Man is the first big boss that players will encounter inRedfall.His threatening messages play over the radio and TV throughout the starting RedfallCommons area. Once players have infiltrated his mansion,learned his tragic backstory,and acquired 3 underboss skulls, they can finally challenge him. Placing the 3 underboss skulls on an altar opens a door similar to the Vampire Nests. Cross through the door and traverse the area to come face to face with the first Vampire God.
Vampire Gods are the main antagonists ofRedfall.Defeating the Hollow Man can be tricky if players try to rush it. Follow this guide to be prepared for this intimidating fight.

Hollow Man Phase 1
The Hollow Man has two phases to his boss fight. This first phase will be active until he reaches around 2/3rds of his health left. He will attack with a large red strand that will attach to the player and suck blood. He also shoots a large beam out of his chest.
Use an assault rifleand hide behind the pillars up the stairs on either side of the arena. He can not reach characters behind the pillars with most of his moves. Occasionally he will smash his arms downward, which can reach past the pillar, but he has a large wind-up that makes it easy to dodge. Continue shooting until his health bar turns silver.
Hollow Man Phase 2
When the health bar turns silver, the Hollow Man will become impervious to any damage. He will enlist theaid of blood bagsand tether to them. He will also summon some vampire shades to attack the player, along with waves of butterflies that shoot around the perimeter of the arena. Take out all the vampire shades first, as they have very little health. Once the shades are defeated, players can run around the arena and grab ammo/medkits near each set of stairs.
Shoot all the blood bags, and players can attack the Hollow Man again.
Finish the Fight
For the remainder of the fight, he will switch back and forth between each phase. The only difference will be a new shield that rotates around him. Go back to a pillar and shoot him between the openings of the shield.
The Hollow Man will collapse once his health has been depleted. Run to his slumped body and finish him off with a stake. Make sure to grab his Skulland the Butterfly Needlewhile leaving the boss area.
