Many are hoping Game Freak and Nintendo show off more ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetsoon, as everything about the new gen has been quiet since the reveal. It stands to reason that Nintendo will host a Pokemon Direct sometime in June, and that’s likely when fans will get more answers. In the meantime, there has been plenty ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetfan art, rumors, and more to keep the topic in conversation.
Many have also likely reasonedPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s release dateas November. It’s not certain, of course, but that block for Nintendo is still open, it fitsPokemon’s normal release window, and it would be good timing for holiday shopping. While a lot that may determine which version someone will get is still behind the curtain, one known and reliable leaker has provided some new information on thePokemon Violetmascot legendary.

For those unfamiliar, Riddler Khu is a known and proven leaker in thePokemoncommunity. They are, generally speaking, one of the few trusted sources out there, having accurately leaked information aboutPokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and evenPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s starters. However, Riddler Khu often keeps their leaks in riddle form, but their recent one is pretty much on the nose.
Based on an image Khu posted, they suggest thatPokemon Violet’s mascot will be rideable in the game. This makes sense given this occurrence in the anime (which is used for the riddle), as well asPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s open-world structure. Interestingly enough, this also seems to imply that thePokemon Scarletlegendary will not be rideable—perhaps due to their physical shape, form, and/or lore.
Khu would also rate thePokemon Scarlet and Violetlegendaries as 10/10, adding that they prefer theVioletlegendary since “it’s way more cooler because of the specific motif.” In other words, the two legendaries likely share different design motifs, meaning they won’t be as similar asPokemon Sword and Shield’s Zacian and Zamazenta.
Although Khu’s hints and words have proven themselves more reliable than random online users, fans should still take this with a grain of salt, as with all rumors. Not much aboutPokemon Scarlet and Violetis certain until the companies involve showcase more. If fans are lucky, perhaps that will prove to be sooner rather than later.
