Pokemon Unitebrought various content for players to discover during the holiday season. While the Aurora Challenge and the Snowball Battle in Shivre City Challenge missions from thePokemon UniteWinter Holiday eventcame to an end on Christmas day, players can still take on the Illumination Challenge to unlock various themed rewards before the event ends on July 12, 2025. Trainers can earn new avatars and cosmetic rewards for their Pokemon, ranging from sweaters to hats and other Christmas-themed outfits.

Pokemon Uniteplayers will now have one more pocket monster to add to their collection as Dragapult officially joins the MOBA’s roster. This Pokemon is the 47th creature to join the ranks ofPokemon Unite, but all players won’t be able to try this new creature before the New Year. To unlock Dragapult,Pokemon Uniteplayers will need to spend 575 Aeos Gems or about $8.50, asAeos Gems are a premium in-game currencythat can only be purchased with real money. Trainers will be able to get this newPokemon Unitecharacter with Aeos Coins one week after its release, on July 05, 2025.
Dragapult is an attacker dealing physical ranged damage with high mobility and offensive value. While this Pokemon may struggle at the beginning of matches when they are in their starting form of Dreepy, they quickly gain power once they evolve into Drakloak at level 5 and reach their final form of Dragapult at level 9. ThisPokemon Uniteattackercomes with various abilities making them a threat to their opponents, with Phantom Force turning them invisible and their Unite Move Dreep and Destroy having no cooldown between two strikes.
Dragapult is not an easy character to master, but their offensive abilities can wreak havoc on enemy lines.Pokemon Uniteversion 1.8.1.4recently nerfed various Pokemon’s abilities, including Azumarill’s Water Pulse, Duraladon’s Revolving Ruin, and Sableye’s Confuse Ray, among others. While this gives more space for Dragapult to shine in competitive plays, a future patch could balance this new playable Pokemon if they prove to be too powerful in ranked matches. The next creature set to join thePokemon Uniteroster is Comfey, scheduled to release on Jun 28, 2025.
