TheSword and Shieldera has been a great one forPokemon TCG. Not only did series fans get a lot of large sets to dig into, but there were also plenty of new Pokemon VSTAR cards introduced which greatly affected the competitive side of things.Silver Tempestmarks the last mainlineSword and Shieldentry, but The Pokemon Company will be treating fans toCrown Zenith, which is a special set that properly bids farewell to Galar as the franchise moves onto Paldea. TheCrown Zenithproducts have been revealed, and it shows that fans will have a lot to amuse themselves with throughout the first half of 2023.
Collectors can expect the usual, such as an Elite Trainer Box.Pokemon TCGwill also introduce special collections focused on Pokemon such as Regieleki, Regidrago, and Morpeko. The releases are spread out from January to May, giving fans enough time to enjoy each wave of products.

Pokemon TCG: Crown Zenith Launch Products
TheCrown Zenithcollection will kick off with what is usually the main attraction - an Elite Trainer Box. Featuring a black and gold image of Lucario on the front, the Elite Trainer Box contains ten booster packs and aspecial art card featuring Lucario VSTAR. Although it has not been officially revealed, gamers can also probably expect the usual additional goodies to be thrown into the Elite Trainer Box, including card sleeves, 6 damage-counter dice, aPokemon TGCrule book, and more. On January 20, two special collection packs will also be available that will shine the spotlight on Regieleki and Regidrago. Each collection will contain four booster packs, an oversized card of either Regieleki or Regidrago, and two promo cards.
Crown Zenith in February and March
The release ofCrown Zenithproducts will continue throughout the first half of 2023. On February 17, fans will be able to purchase five mini tins that feature beautiful art. The tins contain two booster packs and one sticker sheet. Another special collection will be released on this date, this time focused on Pikachu VMAX. This collection will feature five booster packs, an oversized card of Pikachu VMAX, one promo card, and a promo card of Pikachu V. For fans of the yellow rodent, this is a collection that is not to be missed. A new batch ofCrown Zenithtins will be released on March 17. This time around, fans can expect five booster packs in each tin, along with one promo card featuring versions of one of thelegendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
Crown Zenith Releases New Products in April and May
Fans will gain access to a blister pack containing three booster packs on April 14. There will be one blister pack featuring a Rillaboom promo card and pin, one featuring an Inteleon promo card and pin, and one containing the same for Cinderace. A special collection also comes on the same day for Morpeko fans. The new Premium Playmat Collection will feature five booster packs, four Morpeko V-Union cards, one Professor Burnet card, an oversize card, and a playmat. This isn’t the first time Morpeko has gotten special attention, as the Pikachu clone also received another special collection earlier on during theSword and Shieldera ofPokemon TCG.
TheCrown Zenithset will end with a bang thanks to the shiny Zacian and shiny Zamazenta premium figure collection. These will contain 11 booster packs, a promo card, a set of card sleeves, and a figure and pin or either shiny Zacian or shiny Zamazenta. This demonstrates a greater desire to represent shiny Pokemon withinPokemon TCG, a trend that has been growing stronger thanks to Radiant Pokemon cards. For gamers who enjoy the Galar region, this is a beautiful closing to this era ofPokemon TCG.

Big changes are coming toPokemon TCGin 2023. In addition to the start of a new generation, fans can also expect a price hike. This is due to the rising cost of commodities globally, though The Pokemon Company is attempting to soften the blow by adding a little extra value to its products.Pokemon TCGwill also be introducing visual changes which will be seen with theScarlet and Violetcards of next year.
