Pokemongames typically follow a set story where the player follows one particular path to complete the game. InPokemon Scarlet & Violet, however, things are much different as players are given the option to choose from three different story paths. One of which includes the Path of Legends, where players must track down anddefeat Titan Pokemon, so they may find the legendary Herba Mysticas.

However, while players can choose when to fight these Titans, there’s actually a correct order in which to fight them, so that way, they don’t accidentally fight an extremely strong one when the player is under-leveled. Here’s thebest order for the Path of Legends Titan battles inPokemon Scarlet & Violet.

1. Stony Cliff Titan - Klawf

2. Open Sky Titan - Bombirdier

After defeating each Titan Pokemon, players will be able to upgrade Koraidon/Miraidon with new abilities for open-world travel. Examples are the abilityto run up walls, swim, or fly with them.

3. Lurking Steel Titan - Orthworm

4. Quaking Earth Titan - Great Tusk - Pokemon Scarlet

4. Quaking Earth Titan - Iron Treads - Pokemon Violet

Depending on which version of the game the player has, the Quaking Earth Titan will be different. InPokemon Scarlet, players will face Great Tusk, while inPokemon Violet, they will face Iron Treads.

5. False Dragon Titan - Dondozo

5. False Dragon Titan - Tatsugiri

The False Dragon Titan actually has three phases, unlike the earlier Titan Pokemon. The first two phases are against the “False Dragon,” Dondozo. After the player defeats Dondozo, the true Dragon Titan, Tatsugiri, will appear and battle them. Defeat Tatsugiri to finally bring the battle to a close.

Can You Catch Titan Pokemon?

Of course, the big question at large is, can players catch Titan Pokemon?Unfortunately, no, Titan Pokemon cannot be caught, only defeated. However, players can, in fact, catch their normal-sized versions. For example, if a player wanted to catch an Orthworm, they can go around the area and catch one, but it won’t be the Titan-sized version they fight in the Titan battle.
