Another fan ofPokemon Scarlet and Violethas recently used their creativity to produce concept art of the game’s three starters as human beings. Though probably not the first to make humanoid versions of pocket creatures inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, fellow fans would probably be interested in how this artist decided to give human features to these three specific Pokemon.
Conceptualizing pocket creatures into their humanoid versions is something that thePokemoncommunity is probably very familiar with. Online forums are often filled with originalPokemonfanart or designs and sometimes, these consist of “gijinka” or humanization artworks, especially of very popular pocket creatures. Given just how well-known thestarters ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetare, it is not surprising for more than one artist to take them as inspiration in their next humanization fanart project.

On Reddit, user FluorescenceFuture posted a series of images that depicted thefinal evolutions of the threePokemon Scarlet and Violetstartersas human beings. The photos showed off the humanoid versions of Meowscarada, Quaquaval, and Skeledirge, with the artist also giving them human names and some flavor text to complement their aesthetic. Meowscarada was given the name Elias and is the supposed middle child, Quaquaval is the eldest brother and is named Joaquin, and the youngest is Skeledirge with Rafael as its human name.
Each of the design concepts reflects the color scheme and iconic features of the starter Pokemon, making them easily recognizable to anyfan ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet. Meowscarada or Elias has a flamboyant green suit with pink accents, just like the dual Grass/Dark-type Pokemon. Quaquaval or Joaquin looks sleek in their blue outfit, with orange highlights that the Water/Fighting-type Pokemon also has. And finally, Skeledirge or Rafael is in red and white streetwear, with the Fire/Ghost-type’s flames represented in the humanoid’s bright yellow-orange locks. Replies on the Reddit thread showed the community’s appreciation for FluorescenceFuture’s creativity, especially since they took the time to give each character a backstory.
It seems that this is not FluorescenceFuture’s first time makingPokemon Scarlet and Violethumanoid fanart. They have produced other works beyond that of the three starter Pokemon and shared them with the fan base online. With the many pocket creatures available inScarlet and Violet, hopefully the artist will find more inspiration and continue to make more humanoid fanart. Fellow fans will probably look forward to seeing what they come up with next.
