Noibat, the Sound Wave Pokemon, made its appearance inPokemon GOback in late 2020. As a pre-evolved Pokemon, its stats are a bit on the low side. However, most players will only want Noibat to get Noivern, which is much stronger compared to its pre-evolved form.
Unlike the main games, trainers can evolve Noibat inPokemon GOby giving it Candy. Noivern isn’t apseudo-legendary like Dragonite or Salamence, but it has high Special Attack and even higher Speed.

How to Get Noibat in Pokemon GO
Noivern can’t be found in the wild, so trainers will need to catch Noibat first. Since December 2020, Noibat was released in the wild inGO’s Kalos Celebration Event. Unfortunately, Noibat is a relatively rare Pokemon. Players can makesearching easier by hunting for it during windy weather. Noibat has a 40% catch rate with a flee rate of 9%. Use razz berries to lower its chances of fleeing.
If trainers don’t want to look for Noibat in the wild, they cantry their luck with 10km Eggs. Walk the desired distance once the 10km Egg has been placed in an Incubator.
Finally, if the player is a high enough level, they canattempt the Level 50 Challenge Research Task. One of the rewards for step 4 is Noibat.

Evolving Noibat into Noivern
The biggest challenge is going to be evolving Noibat into Noivern. ThisPokemon needs 400 Candy to evolve. Alongside Pokemon like Magikarp, Noibat is one of many Pokemon that areexpensive to evolve inPokemon GO. Players may not want to invest this much into Noivern. Despite its moveset, Noivern can have a max CP of 3125.

However, catching Noibat in the wild can feel tedious and be time-consuming because of Noibat’s rarity. If players choose to do Raids, they can get up to3 Rare Candy from Raid Bosses. The best way to get Candy for Noibat is by hatching the 10km Eggs. It’s not the easiest way out of the three, but it’s the method that gives the most candy at 30 Candy per 10km Egg.
Remember: The total cost for evolving Noibat is 400 Candy. This evolution process is going to be time-consuming no matter which method players choose.
