Pokemon GOCommunity Day eventsare a valuable opportunity for trainers to catch new Pokemon, earn additional items and XP through event bonuses, and trade Pokemon at a reduced cost. Community Day Classic events typically serve as a rerun of prior Community Day events, allowing players to capture a Pokemon they may have missed out on. During Community Day, evolving the featured Pokemon in a limited-time window grants an exclusive move that can prove to be useful in Trainer Battles, Gyms and Raids inPokemon GO.
Niantic encourages players to save the dates for the next four Community Day events, with the first taking place on Sunday, June 9. APokemon GOCommunity Day Classic event will be held a few weeks later on Saturday, June 22. Another Community Day event will be held on July 21, followed by the fourth and final Season 15 Community Day event on August 31. These new Community Day events will likely feature several event bonuses, such as increased XP gains and Rare Candy drops for capturing Pokemon, reduced Stardust cost for trading, and the opportunity tocatch Smeargle with thePokemon GOsnapshot feature.

What’s more, Niantic plans to host various new events between the Community Day events, including a new Raid Day event on Saturday, June 29. An all-new event is scheduled for July 27, and Shadow Raid Weekend will be held on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11. Niantic will share more details about the first Community Day event for June and more soon. LikepreviousPokemon GORaid Day events, players will likely be able to earn additional Raid Passes and increase the encounter rate for certain Pokemon.
Before the first Season 15 Community Day event begins,Pokemon GOFest 2024will finally arrive on May 30 in Sendai with various activities to be held in the game and around the city. After the Sendai event,Pokemon GOFest 2024 will go to Madrid and New York City on June 14 and July 5 respectively. Players who are unable to go to these major cities may still participate in a globalPokemon GOFest event, which begins on July 13. The two-day global event will give players an opportunity to earn exclusive items, catch new Pokemon, and have fun with fellow Pokemon Trainers nearby.
