Now another popular Pokemon is getting the cute plush toy treatment from Build-a-Bear, this one being the adorable and spookyMimikyu fromPokemon Sun and Moon. Generation 7’s mysterious Ghost/Fairy Pokemon is now available to order in doll form on the official Build-a-Bear website in a $69.00 bundle and comes in two different outfit variations: a sporting top hat and bow tie set and a cozy cape and hat buddle. The Mimikyu Build-a-Bear plush also plays five distinct sound effects pulled from the creature’s appearances across the variousPokemonmedia. A standalone $34.00 versioon is also available.
Mimikyu has become a popular member of the vastPokemonuniverse since its introduction in 2016, withPokemonfans coming up with creepy theoriesabout its strange resemblance to Pikachu. Indeed, Mimikyu is known for hiding itself under a cloth patterned afterPokemon’s famous electricity-generating mascot, and it is said that looking underneath it could actually kill a human.
