APokemonfan has turned Machamp into a Fighting/Rock-type.Pokemonfans always look for creative ways to show their love for the franchise, oftentimes new appearances to their favorite Pokemon.
That’s the case with fan art dedicated to Machamp, one of the original 151 Pokemon. Machamp is Machop’s final form, evolving from Machoke when it is traded. Machamp is known for its athletic form and its four muscular arms. Because it is available in limited ways,Machamp is a Pokemon rarely seenin the wild. Because of its multiple arms, Machamp can hit its opponents extremely fast and from many angles. Machamp already has an iconic design, but one artist created a new look for the Gen 1 Pokemon and shared the result.

Reddit user JJonnie has transformed Machamp into a Fighting/Rock-type based on creative inspirations. Machamp’s new form got the name Machisel and has four arms made up of magnetic crystals, generating a field that controls the giant boulder hands. According to the artist, this design was inspired by the floating rocks in the movieAtlantis: The Lost Empire. Machisel is a humanoid Pokemon with a body and a bun on top of its head made of stone. The Pokemon wears a sort of skirt instead of a champion’s belt. The Pokemon’s tattoos were inspired byDwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Along with the new design for Rock-type Machamp, the artist has assigned Magnet Pull as its ability. With it, if Machisel fights a Steel-type Pokemon, that Pokemon cannot be switched. Magnet Pull is an ability introduced in Gen 3, and can be used by Alolan Geodude, one of the Pokemon used by the OP in the composition of the fan art that is available on YouTube. As well ascreating a new form for Machamp, the fan art shared on Reddit shows a new design for Heracross inspired by the golden scarab, a traditional artifact from ancient Egypt.
Machamp has appeared in the Pokedex records of every generation, except Gen 9. Although this iconic Pokemon is absent from Paldea’s Pokedex,Pokemon Scarlet and Violethave other Fighting-typesthat trainers can encounter. Among them are classic names like Heracross, and Gen 9 Pokemon like Quaquaval and Koraidon.
