Many times the characters in the minor roles are overlooked because of one reason or another. Some major characters also suffer from this problem because they are not as flashy as the others. However, it is important to remember that these characters had a crucial role to play and they should not be judged based on a handful of appearances.
8Gina Gray
Gina Gray might be a very annoying character, but it just means her character is able to evoke the emotions that it was created for. But, Gina is not just annoying, she is also very manipulative. As a result of her continuous efforts,Gina was able to turn Michael against Tommy.
Gina does not have any kind of morals as she showed in season six when she cheated on Michael with Oswald Mosley. She is extremely two-faced, which makes her a very detestable character.

7John Shelby
John Shelby was one of the main charactersin the series. For the first three seasons, he walked shoulder to shoulder with Arthur and Tommy as the Peaky Blinders expanded their business. John was not the smartest, but he cared deeply about the family and he would never let any harm come to them.

In comparison to Arthur and Tommy, John was not involved in the big things. Arthur and Tommy looked to be in a world of their own. There is no doubt that John was the kindest out of the three brothers, which is very special considering his line of work.
6Curly And Charlie
Curly and Charlie have been two of the most consistent characters in the series. They work in the yard and take care of Tommy’s supplies and horses. Curly is simple-minded, but he possesses immense knowledge about horses. Charlie is responsible for keeping Curly in check and doing the more serious business.
Despite not being biologically connected to the Shelbys, Charlie took care of them as if they were his own nephews and nieces. In the sixth season, Charlie also mentored Duke, which helped the young Shelby to become an active part of the Peaky Blinders. Furthermore,Charlie also fought the IRA alongside Jeremiah and Arthur Shelby.

5Tatiana
Tatiana was a part of Season 3 of Peaky Blinders. She had an extremely bold personality and she actually planned to betray her family. Tatiana made a deal with Tommy, who agreed to help her.

After the passing of Grace, Tatiana seduced Tommy to “help” him heal from his sadness. Tatiana’s character is extremely likable, and it is a shame that her story ended so soon.
4Lizzie
Lizzie’s character development throughout the series is nothing short of amazing. Her life wasn’t always easy as she was a sex worker. She was supposed to marry John, but Tommy arranged John’s marriage to Esme Lee for business purposes.
Tommy offered Lizzie to work as her secretary and after Grace’s death, he married Lizzie. Lizzie endured all of Tommy’s toxic behavior, and she did her best to raise the kids. She obeyed all kinds of ridiculous orders for Tommy’s sake. It is a big surprise that Lizzie didn’t leave Tommy earlier.

3Luca Changretta
Luca Changretta might not be a minor character, but many fans consider him a “weak” villain. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Luca came from America to get his revenge on the Peaky Blinders, who were responsible for the killing of his father. He managed to kill John Shelby and wounded Michael badly.
Luca struck fear into the hearts of the Shelby Family. He walked into Tommy Shelby’s office calmly to declare that the vendetta was on. Tommy required the help of Al Capone to take down Luca Changretta. With the style of an iconic mafioso, Luca Changretta oozed pure class.

2Ada Shelby
When Tommy said that Ada should be a politician, he knew her potential. Ada tries to distance herself from the Shelby business, but occasionally she comes back at the behest of her brother. Ada is well-spoken, and she has no problem conveying Tommy’s messages to his business partners.
Another great quality about Ada is that she does not allow anyone else to step on her. In the final season when she wastalking to Oswald Mosley, Diana Mitford, and Jack Nelson, Ada showed no fear, and it surprised all the people in the room.

1Johnny Dogs
Johnny Dogs is Tommy’s most reliable friend. He is a gypsy, who has helped Tommy many times. His biggest attribute is that he manages to get the work done without any problems. He doesn’t annoy Tommy with multiple questions, which the latter appreciates a lot.
Johnny Dogs might not be a good-looking guy like Tommy or the others, but he has a heart of pure gold. Tommy trusts him more than his family, which illustrates the significant trust that is shared between them.
