A new update comes to theNintendo Switchthis week bringing with it stability upgrades for theextremely popular console. The update, dubbed version 10.0.1 is a very minor one, with the patch notes consisting of only one line stating that general system stability improvements were made.

Also known astwo step verification, two factor authentication adds an extra layer of security on accounts and is relatively simple to set up. Of course, these breaches are just rumors, and Nintendo has made no report on whether or not there actually was a security breach. For a big company like Nintendo, it seems likely it wouldn’t try to hide it if something like this happened, so odds are this most recent update is just what it seems to be, a minor performance enhancing update.
