New Worldis celebrating its first winter holidays with a special event called theWinter Convergence Festival, which runs from December 16th to January 11th. In addition to the event, the game also introduced Winter Tokens, a special currency that allows a player to exchange them for time-sensitive, unique rewards, and the best way to earn a bunch of tokens is through knowing how and where to obtain Gleamite.

Everything You Need To Know About Gleamite

By doing the Winter Convergence Festival questline inNew World, players will eventually be tasked by the Winter Wanderer in the Winter Village to mine a fallen Gleamite crystal. Though the Winter Wanderer will mark a Gleamite Shard location on their map for the sake of convenient quest completion, it’s far from an optimal way to gather this new material.

The showers can disperse Gleamite Chunks in several locations at once, and the locations have no discernible or predictable pattern to them. The event, which spawns at night, is impossible to miss with its dazzling display of color and the Gleamite can be found in the direction of where the meteor exploded into smaller chunks. Once players find their way to one of theselocations inNew World, they can recognize Gleamite Chunks as these tall, multi-colored crystals poking out of the ground.
