Kakuzu was able to prolong his life by stealing the hearts of other people, and his power caught the attention of Pain. After being defeated by the leader of Akatsuki, he had no option but to join the organization, and within no time he became one of its most prized assets. Kakuzu was killed by Naruto after he stupidly decided to underestimate the ninja from the Hidden Leaf.

After joining the Akatsuki, Hidan was paired with Kakuzu, and the two of them came to be known as the “Zombie Combo,” as they were almost immortal. Unlike his partner, Hidan did not have to rely on stealing the hearts of others, as he gained true immortality.

​​​​​While being immortal definitely had its perks, Hidan often got carried away. He made recklessly foolish decisions, and Kakuzu would have to bail him out of those situations. His story came to an end when Shikamaru buried him under the ground.

Yahiko was one of three Amegakure orphans, who were trained by Jiraiya. Out of the three, Yahiko was the most positive and hardworking. After seeing so many people die in the war, Yahiko wanted to build a world that would be devoid of suffering and pain.

To achieve this goal,Yahiko started the Akatsuki, but Danzo turned Hanzo against the young ninja. Hanzo stated that Yahiko needed to die in order for peace to prevail. Without a second thought, Yahiko walked into the kunai held by Nagato and died. Yahiko was an outstanding character, and he made a big impact on the series, but his appearances were very limited.

4Kushina Uzumaki

Kushina Uzumaki is the mother of Naruto. She was originally a resident of Uzushiogakure, but had to relocate when it was nearly wiped out. As an Uzumaki, Kushina had incredible chakra reserves, which made her perfect for a jinchuuriki.

Her life was going well until Obito infiltrated the Hidden Leaf and unleashed the Nine Tails. Due to the tailed beast extraction, Kushina was extremely weakened, so she could fight like she wanted to. When Naruto’s life was in danger, she sacrificed herself without even thinking twice.

Madara even activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, only for Zetsu to betray him and revive Kaguya Otsutsuki at his expense.
