Mostly, the villains only get one chance to make a meaningful impact on the viewers, so they have to make the most of it. While it is a good strategy to divide the screentime, sometimes it is better to have certain characters appear in more than just a single arc.
8Sasori
Sasori used to be a ninja who fought for the Hidden Sand Village, but after killing the Third Raikage, he left and joined the Akatsuki. Sasori had a fondness for puppetry, but it eventually grew into an obsession, which led him to create human puppets.
He went as far as to alter his own body so that it wouldn’t age or weaken. Sasori fought against Chiyo and Sakura, and it was a rather emotional fight. Despite the best efforts of the two ninjas, Sasori could have won the fight if Chiyo had not used the father and mother puppets.
7Kakuzu
Kakuzu wasone of the oldest and strongest ninjasin the series. He was a highly trained ninja from Takigakure, who was sent by the higher-ups from his village to kill Hashirama Senju. The attempt ended in failure, and on his return to the village, Kakuzu killed all the higher-ups and became a rogue ninja.

Kakuzu was able to prolong his life by stealing the hearts of other people, and his power caught the attention of Pain. After being defeated by the leader of Akatsuki, he had no option but to join the organization, and within no time he became one of its most prized assets. Kakuzu was killed by Naruto after he stupidly decided to underestimate the ninja from the Hidden Leaf.
6Hidan
After joining the Akatsuki, Hidan was paired with Kakuzu, and the two of them came to be known as the “Zombie Combo,” as they were almost immortal. Unlike his partner, Hidan did not have to rely on stealing the hearts of others, as he gained true immortality.
While being immortal definitely had its perks, Hidan often got carried away. He made recklessly foolish decisions, and Kakuzu would have to bail him out of those situations. His story came to an end when Shikamaru buried him under the ground.
5Yahiko
Yahiko was one of three Amegakure orphans, who were trained by Jiraiya. Out of the three, Yahiko was the most positive and hardworking. After seeing so many people die in the war, Yahiko wanted to build a world that would be devoid of suffering and pain.

To achieve this goal,Yahiko started the Akatsuki, but Danzo turned Hanzo against the young ninja. Hanzo stated that Yahiko needed to die in order for peace to prevail. Without a second thought, Yahiko walked into the kunai held by Nagato and died. Yahiko was an outstanding character, and he made a big impact on the series, but his appearances were very limited.
4Kushina Uzumaki
Kushina Uzumaki is the mother of Naruto. She was originally a resident of Uzushiogakure, but had to relocate when it was nearly wiped out. As an Uzumaki, Kushina had incredible chakra reserves, which made her perfect for a jinchuuriki.
Her life was going well until Obito infiltrated the Hidden Leaf and unleashed the Nine Tails. Due to the tailed beast extraction, Kushina was extremely weakened, so she could fight like she wanted to. When Naruto’s life was in danger, she sacrificed herself without even thinking twice.
3Shisui Uchiha
Shisui was different from most members of the Uchiha clan. He firmly believed that the first priority of a ninja should be their village and not their clan. Shisui’s way of thinking inspired Itachi, and down the line, it would lead to the Uchiha Clan massacre.
In addition to being a great person, Shisui was also a very talented ninja. According to Danzo, he was the most powerful Uchiha of his time.Shisui’s eyes were highly covetedbecause of his powerful genjutsu, which caused Danzo to attack and steal one of them. Shisui somehow managed to survive and made his way back to Itachi. Before committing suicide, Shisui entrusted his other eye to Itachi. The story of Shisui was truly fascinating, and it was neatly wrapped up in a few episodes.
2Hashirama Senju
Hashirama Senju wasthe First Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. He was blessed with an enormous amount of power, which made him the strongest ninja of his time, and it led to his moniker, “God of Shinobi.”
Hashirama possessed the Wood Release, which enabled him to stop the tailed beasts without any difficulty. He also had access to the Sage Mode, which further boosted his strength and chakra reserves. Hashirama was reanimated as a mindless ninja during Orochimaru’s attack, but it wasn’t until the Fourth Great Ninja War that he truly got involved in the story and made any kind of valuable contribution.
1Madara Uchiha
Considered by many to be the best character in theNarutoseries, Madara Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha clan during the Warring States Period. After watching his family members fall one by one, he decided to form the Hidden Leaf with Hashirama Senju.
The plan seemed to work for a while until Tobirama and the others named Hashirama the Hokage. Madara felt betrayed and this opened the window for Black Zetsu to manipulate him. Once he finished planning his revival, Madara passed on. He then made his appearancein the Fourth Great Ninja War, where he ruthlessly slaughtered ninjas. Madara even activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, only for Zetsu to betray him and revive Kaguya Otsutsuki at his expense.
