Monster Hunter Riseplayers will need to gather all sorts of items and materials to craftpowerful weapons and armor sets. One of the items, or bugs rather, that players might be on the hunt for is called Toxic Kumori. This insect can’t be found out on quests or in any of the biomes; however, it can be obtained by going over to theBuddy Plazaand using the services thatRondine the Trader offers at the Argosy.
Before players can use the Argosy’s Submarine, they will first need to complete theEconomic Simulation Requestaccepted through Rondine after reaching High-Rank quests in the Gathering Hub inMonster Hunter Rise. The request asks players to go andcollect a King Rhino, Rock Roses, and Bismuth Prisms. After gathering the necessary materials, players canuse the Argosy to get Toxic Kumori.

Getting Toxic Kumori Using the Argosy
If players have the first submarine unlocked, they canspeak to Rondine and then use their Buddiesto order specific items. Choose Order Items > Trade Requests, and then choose high-level Buddy to send out. As for the item that players should select to request, they need to choose one of the options listed below. By selecting one of these items, players can obtain Toxic Kumori as a bonus, but it’s not always guaranteed.
After sending out the Buddy,Monster Hunter Riseplayers will need to complete some quests to wait for the ship to return with the desired items. If players are in the Gathering Hub, they can head upstairs near the Smithy and the Blacksmith and speak to theirHousekeeper Palicoto check in on the Argosy’s items. If the Toxic Kumori isn’t there for the taking, players should just keep doing quests until the item is obtained from the Buddies.
If players have three high-level Buddies and have unlocked all three submarines, they can send three at once with the required item to get better chances of getting Toxic Kumori. Unfortunately, this is the only way toget Toxic Kumori inMonster Hunter Rise, so players will need luck on their side if they want to farm the item.
