As players make their way through the third chapter ofMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, they will encounter a chasm that must be crossed. While this can be done simply by encouraging Drax to throw Rocket across the gap, some players may prefer to take a less demeaning approach. For those fans that are trying to figure out how to get across this chasm inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxywithout tossing the racoon, this guide contains a full walkthrough.
How to Get Across the Chasm in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
To start, players should begin by positioning themselves on the metal platform that is extending from the side of the chasm that they are on. From there, fans should direct their attention down and to the left, where they will see some masses of goop that are attached to the side of a cliff. Players should now fire upon that goop with theirweapons inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxyand then drop down to the platform below when all of it has been cleared.

Upon landing,action-adventure video gamefans should immediately turn to their left and use Rapid Reload to clear some additional goop. For full clarity, Rapid Reload is performed by firing a full round of ammo and then squeezing the right trigger when the reticle’s moving lines overlap with its green rectangles. Once that has been done, fans are free to crawl through the tunnel that they have just cleared, though they may want to grab the item that is down the narrow pathway in front of them before doing so.
On the other side of the tunnel, players should simply continue forward, climbing their way up to a wall that is covered by even more goop. Fans should once again use the Rapid Reloadperk inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxyto remove this material, and they should then squeeze through the newly-revealed gap and collect the Advanced Components that are on the other side. There is a large maroon pillar very near to these Components, and fans should highlight it, press L1/LB, and select Drax to knock it over.
With the pillar toppled, players can walk over it to finally get across the chasm in Chapter 3. Fans will not find any respite on the other side of the gap, though, as they will be promptly attacked by numerous Mantanes. Notably, the speed of these flyingenemies inMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxycan make them a bit difficult to bring down, and players should thus make sure that they are ready for battle before they jump from the pillar.
