Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Nameoffers a fresh approach to theYakuzaseries' well-known substory content. Substories are optional side quests that can be pursued as the player explores the game’sreal-world inspired urban settings. Previously, most substories inYakuzagames were initiated by engaging with city NPCs or unlocked after meeting specific requirements.
Like a Dragon Gaideninstead integrates these substories into a new game progression system called theAkame Network. The Akame Network acts as a hub for managing the player’s progress in both Stroll n’ Patrol city missions and special requests directly from Akame. Akame is a self-proclaimed “jack-of-all-trades” whomaintains an information networkfostered primarily through her relationships with the local homeless.

Akame Network missions are easily identifiable on the city map and minimap by awhite exclamation mark. The missions typically require the player to perform tasks such as delivering requested items to NPCs, recovering lost property through the use of the Spider gadget, taking photos, or defeating groups of enemies.

Rewards for these missions generally includemonetary compensationand grant points that increase the player’s Akame Network level. Advancing to higher levels enables players to access new missions and use a special currency to unlock bonuses andbuy exclusive itemsat Akame’s Hideout.
Where to Start the Challenge to the Informant Mission
The"Challenge to the Informant"mission series in the Stroll n’ Patrol Adventure set invites players to test their knowledge of Sotenbori through a quiz, drawing on protagonist Joryu’s extensive history with the city. Players can start the mission by heading to a building marked with a white exclamation point on the map, located southwest of the intersection of Bishamon Bridge and the Sotenbori Footpath.
Upon entering the building and climbing the stairs, the player will reach a small office occupied by a lone manwearing a silly hatnamedQuizzy Quester. To start a mission, the player should talk to the Quizzy Quester and agree to take on his quiz challenge.

How to Complete the Challenge to the Informant Mission
The"Challenge to the Informant"series comprises six quizzes, each presenting a single question about the city of Sotenbori. These quizzes unlock progressively, triggered by the player’s advancement in the Akame Network. As the player increases their network level, new quizzes become available, indicated by the return of a white exclamation point at the Quizzy Quester’s location.
With each new mission, the Quizzy Quester will then ask the player about a specific detail of the city of Sotenbori. The player can then choose from three possible responses. If the player chooses the correct answer as their first response, they will receive a10,000 yen reward.

All Correct Quiz Answers in Challenge to the Informant Adventure Missions
While correct answers are essential for completing each “Challenge to the Informant” mission inLike a Dragon Gaiden, the player will not fail the mission if they select the wrong answer. Instead, the incorrect answer is removed from the selection, and the player can select a different response. The mission will be completed when the player has chosen the right answer or only the correct answer remains.
