Summary

Intel is gearing up to unveil its Raptor Lake Refresh lineup of 14th Gen desktop CPUs, and a performance comparison between the expected Core i9 14900K and the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D has surfaced online. The slide shows gaming performance for the two CPUs in 25 games with Intel taking the lead in the majority of the titles. These benchmarks seem to be from an official Intel slide leaked ahead of launch, so it should be considered with a pinch of salt.

Raptor Lake Refresh, as the name suggests, is a refresh of the current 13th Gen Intel desktop CPUs. It is well known that these new CPUs willonly bring marginal improvementsover the current generation offerings. Previously leaked information has suggested that there will be six SKUs in the lineup including the Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K, and Core i5-14600K, along with their iGPU-less KF counterparts. Intel is expected to grow this lineup in the coming months.
