Marvel’s Spider-Manfeatures an incredible lineup of costumes from across many adaptations, but there are still some classic suits that did not make it into the original game’s lineup. One of these costumes is fromSpectacular Spider-Man, but thankfully,Marvel’s Spider-Manmodders on PC have made the outfit available.
Ever sinceMarvel’s Spider-Manreleased on PC, creative fans have been releasing suit mods for players to enjoy. Through these mods, the long-requestedAmazing Spider-Man 2suit was made available, with players now able to dress up as Andrew Garfield’s version of the legendary Marvel hero. The Symbiote suit was also added to the game, too, as were a few Peter Parker skins. With full onmodel swaps for Daredevil, Venom, and Black Panther being posted online as well, the sky is the limit for modders.

Spectacular Spider-Manonly received a few seasons before it was canceled, but in that time, it managed to tell memorable, modern versions of some of the hero’s best stories. With clean animation featured alongside an incrediblycatchy theme song, many have been pushing for a revival of the show for several years. Though it is unclear if that will ever happen, players can now experienceMarvel’s Spider-Manwhile donning theSpectacular Spider-Mansuit.
The mod in question was created by Nexus Mods user Niquita, and they could not have done a better job of recreating the look and feel of the animated model. As showcased in a lengthy video from YouTuber DVESF, the suit looks great both in combat and cinematics. The character model is smaller than the normal version ofPeter Parker, perfectly matching the younger version from the show. The costume itself features Web Wings, though they do not add any extra functionality to swinging. Beyond that, the suit design is spot-on, featuring the same eye shapes and spider symbol as it did in the show.
What makes this mod so incredible is that the creator adds the cel shaded style featured in other animated suits fromMarvel’s Spider-Man. This smart touch ensures that the costume looks like it was pulled straight out of the animated series, and given how popular costumes like theInto The Spider-Versesuitare, it is incredibly likely that this suit mod will prove to be a big hit. With modders already able to make animated suits alongside realistic ones, there is a wide variety of extra costumes available to those that have the game on PC.
With many moreiconic Spider-Man suitsfor modders to add to the game, from both comic books and animated shows, there should be plenty of fun costume mods coming in the near future. For fans ofSpectacular Spider-Man, though, this particular costume is as good as it gets.
