With the recent announcement ofHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, manyLegend of Zeldafans are excited for the game’s release. Along with the latest game in theNintendofranchise, some fans will be able to purchase the game with special bonuses along with it.
On September 8, Nintendo announced the upcomingHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity,which will be coming out in November. The game will be set 100 years before the events ofBreath of the Wild, so players will be able to see more of what Hyrule looked like in its prime as well as learn more about the four Hyrule champions that accompany Zelda and Link on their quest to take downCalamity Ganon.

For fans in Japan, there is a special edition ofHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamityavailable to them, much like the ones that could be purchased withBreath of the WildandLink’s Awakeningwhen they were first released. Starting on Friday, fans will be able to pre-order the game with a special “treasure box” as well. The standard physical game costs 7,920 yen in Japan, and this special package will be priced at 16,720 yen. TheAge of Calamity"Treasure Box" will include a copy of the game, an acrylic art display, a paraglider-style blanket, and a metal charm.
The special package will available for pre-order on the GameCity website ofKoei Temco, the developer behindHyrule Warriors. At the time this is being written, there are no images of any of the additional products that are apart of theAge of Calamity"Treasure Box," but pictures may be introduced to the site as it gets closer to the day they can be pre-ordered. There is no news that this special edition will be coming to the West yet, but fans from all over the world would also love to purchase this collection as well and are hoping that Nintendo will bring them good news in this area.
With the sudden announcement of this newZeldagame seemingly out of nowhere, fans of the franchise are left with many questions as to what the game entails. However, Nintendo has said that it will release moreHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamitynewslater this month. Maybe one of the things that will disclosed at that time is theAge of Calamity"Treasure Box" package coming to the West, but this is not for certain. All fans can do now is wait and see what happens.
