Yoshihiro Togashi’s world ofHunter x Hunteris filled with some of the most incredible characters who excel in the usage of a power known as nen. While some of them belong to the nefarious Phantom Troupe, others are assassins, such asthe members of the Zoldyck Family.

A significant portion of these characters are also Hunters and, thus, work with the Hunter Association. While all of them are skilled in some way, only a few can be considered to be truly dangerous.
10Killua Zoldyck
Killua became a Hunter on his second attempt with rather ease and, since then, he has excelled by leaps and bounds as a skilled hunter.
Being a member of the Zoldyck Family, quinoa has always been exceptionally skilled in the art of assassination. Although he doesn’t seem to be a dangerous person from his face, if pushed,Killua can kill nearly anyone standing in his way within an instant.
9Gon Freecss
Gon is just as skilled a Hunter as Killuaand his potential is known to be immense. He passed the Hunter exam on his very first attempt and has improved his skills massively since then.
While Gon has an incredibly friendly personality, when it comes to protecting the ones he loves, he can be as scary as any other villain in the story.
8Illumi Zoldyck
Illumi is the older brother of Killua Zoldyck and an incredibly powerful Hunter. He acquired his license during the same Hunter Exam that Gon took part in. Being a member of the Zoldyck Family, he is exceptionally skilled as a Hunter.
His nen type is Manipulation and he’s known to be strong enough to rival even Hisoka in some ways. Illumi’s aura is extremely dangerous. His full strength hasn’t been seen yet, however, fans will likely get a glimpse of it in the future.
7Kite
Kite is a Hunter who was once a student of Ging Freecss. Expectedly, Kite grew into a wonderful Hunter under his care. In the Chimera Ant arc, fans saw a display of his true power.

Kite is certainly a dangerous personality and the majority of the Chimera Ants were quite scared of him. Unfortunately, he ended up dying at the hands of Neferpitou, however, at the end of the arc, Kite was reincarnated.
6Kurapika
Kurapika is a Blacklist Hunterand most certainly one ofHunter x Hunter’s most dangerous characters. His goal is to avenge his clan and gather all the stolen eyes one by one.
Kurapika aims to destroy all those members of the Phantom Troupe who took part in the massacre of his clan. He has only grown stronger over the years and, currently, is probably one of the very strongest Hunters in the story.
5Hisoka
Hisoka is one of the most powerful antagonists inHunter x Hunter. Introduced at the beginning of the series, Hisoka has only gone on to establish himself as an important character. As a Transmuter, his skills are absolutely incredible.
He makes use of an ability called Bungee Gum which gives the properties of both rubber and gum to his Nen aura. Hisoka is capable of killing nearly anyone and his mere aura intimidates most people around him. He is certainly one of the most dangerous characters in the story.
4Biscuit Krueger
Biscuit Kruger, also known as Bisky, is a Nen Master who is held in high regard within the Hunter Association. Her skill with this art is such that she can even pass it on to other people, such as Wing, and even the likes of Killua and Gon.

At first glance, she looks far from dangerous, however, if pushed, Bisky can utterly destroy nearly anyone she is taking on in combat.
3Ging Freecs
Ging is an incredibly powerful Hunter who fans have not seen much of so far. However, his reputation as a tremendous hunter has been established very well in the story already.
While his involvement in the plot isn’t much at the moment, fans will certainly get to see more of him in the future. The level of strength that he possesses automatically makes him one of the most dangerous characters inHunter x Hunter.
2Isaac Netero
The former Chairman of the Hunter Association, Isaac Netero was the strongest Hunter ever. With years of training, he had pushed himself beyond the limits of a human.Netero’s skill with nenwas absolutely incredible, as seen during his fight against King Meruem.
In serious combat, he’s, quite possibly, the worst enemy anyone could wish for. Isaac Netero was truly a menacing fighter and one of the greatest Hunters ever.
