Despite its staying power and iconic status, Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun fails to impress in Chapter 6 Season 2. Sure, it’s an easy SMG to acquire, and its hefty use of 40 bullets per magazine can be nice for those who are likely to miss their shots, but it’s still a shell of its former golden self all those years ago. Midas' Drum Gun used to have an absurd fire rate with hardly any kick from the recoil, making it a must-have for winning fights. However, this time around the fire rate is a little low, and the thermal scope that highlights enemies with a golden glow, doesn’t do much to competeagainst the Veiled Precision SMG.
