Initially, it may seem as though nothing happens when trying to activate the Scorpion’s Sting glyph, leading many to wonder whether they’re doing something wrong. SomeStarfieldplayers may even head out in search of more powers in the hopes that one of them might allow them to finally activate the glyph. As it turns out though, the Scorpion’s Sting solution is actually a fairly simple one when all’s said and done.

How to Activate the Scorpion’s Sting Glyph

What many players might not realize is that the Scorpion’s Sting glyph actually works like a celestial D-pad of sorts. Activating one particular part of the glyph will cause the beam of light to move in that direction, which isn’t all that apparent if players are tapping the activate button rather than holding it. Once players figure this out though, the puzzle becomes incredibly straightforwardand can be solved in just a matter of seconds.

to solve the Scorpion’s Sting puzzle on Hyla II, players will need to move the beam of light down and to the left so that it hits the final star of the Scorpius constellation on the ground below. Doing so will cause a glowing ball of light to appear above the star, letting players know that they’ve found the solution. Their activemain story objectivewill then be updated, at which point, they’ll need to make their way to Oborum III in the Oborum Prime system.

What’s at the End of the Scorpion’s Sting?

Upon their arrival in Oborum Prime, players will find the Scorpius and can hail it to open up a line of dialog with the Hunter. He’s currently meeting with another Starborn known as the Emissary, who, as it turns out, was the one who warned players about pursuing the Artifacts earlier on in the game. The pair will invite the playable character onboard and tell them all about the Starborn and the Unity. The Emissary will then hand players a key, which will help them to finally learnthe truth about what happened to Earth.
