Of course, video games won’t always be perfect, as players will sometimes experience hiccups. This was the case with Reddit user Username69221, who shared aHonkai: Star Railclip where they encountered a bug that caused them to not land attacks on the Frigid Prowler Stagnant Shadow. The 20-second video showed them attacking the enemy using Hook, while joking that it was “too fat” that they can’t even hit it. Many gamers in the comments also joked that Hook is too small to attack. At the same time, the Frigid Prowler wasn’t hostile towards Hook as well. The bug resolved itself when Username69221 switched to Seele to attack the monster.
While many commenters found the bug hilarious, they said that this was a common occurrence while using Hook. Some also shared that they experienced this using different characters against enemies like Svarog in the Simulated Universe. Additionally, they confirmed that players can fix the bug by simply switching characters, but they can also report the bug to HoYoverse to receive 300 Stellar Jades for the trouble.
There’s no clear explanation as to what causes thisHonkai: Star Railbug, but it might be because the enemy couldn’t register small characters like Hook. There’s atrick inHonkai: Star Railwhere players can make shorter characters hide behind boxes to avoid enemy fights. Perhaps the game glitched out and thought Hook was “hiding,” so her attacks didn’t register. Nonetheless, the bug made for a funny clip that many fans could enjoy while taking a break from theHonkai: Star Railgrind.
In less than a week,Honkai: Star Railwill launch the second phase of Version 1.5. The main banner will feature new five-star character Argenti and four-star Hanya, while there-run banner will feature Silver Wolf.
