Halo Infiniteis a game that has now established itself and sustained a fairly favorable critical reception. Launching alongside otherindustry giants such asBattlefield 2042andCall of Duty: Vanguard, the latest addition to the space-shooter franchise seems to stand a cut above its competition in terms of legacy and positive buzz, although it is not without criticism.

While it is true thatHalo Infinitewas lauded for its ambitious open-world campaign and free-to-play multiplayer, it must be said that the latter has taken a while to significantly resonate with fans and provide that classicHalomultiplayer experience that has worked so well in the past. With the title always striving to reach these heights, the implementation of new content with the periodic arrival of seasonal multiplayer updates is the perfect way to do so.

Halo Infinite Season 2: New Maps

In total, two new maps have been confirmed to accompany Season 2 ofHalo Infinite. A new map named “Catalyst” is expected to launch with Season 2, bolstering the roster of Arena-based maps within the game. The second map goes by the name of “Breaker,” and will be added to the Big Team Battles roster. Halo Infinite Season 2: New Game Modes

Halo Infinite Season 2: New Battle Pass Content

As always, the primary allure of any in-game Season is the introduction of its new Battle Pass, with Season 2 being no different. Much like the Battle Pass of Season 1, Season 2’s Pass will never expire, meaning players who are late to the party still have the incentive to purchase the Pass and unlock its rewards without the threat of early expiration.

While the exact content of the Battle Pass for Season 2 is currently unknown, it is most likely going to feature content relating to the “Lone Wolf” Spartan theme, with related armor customization elements and weapon/vehicle skins. A new and important element of the Battle Pass, however, has been made clear to fans. The Season 2 Battle Pass will grant players the ability to earn in-game credits as a part of Battle Pass progression, allowing for much easier purchase of the next Battle Pass or even just to unlock an additional cosmetic treat from the in-game store. It is also very likely that the progression for Season 2’s Battle Pass will be much faster than its predecessor, with one of the maincriticisms of Season 1’s Pass being how slow progression felt.
