There are plenty of memorable qualities that makeHaloone of the most recognizable gaming franchises of all time. From the lush, detailed environments, to the triumphant soundtrack, to the addictive gameplay,Haloas a whole is a series that is appreciated by many in the gaming community.

Another aspect ofHalothat makes it such a recognizable series is the armor issued to Spartan soldiers. Even those who haven’t touched aHalogame will likely recall the iconicgreen armor worn by the Master Chief,Halo’sprotagonist. The Spartan armor has gone through several different iterations over the course of severalHalogames and one Blender artist has crafted some unique variations of the Spartan armor. One fan in particular has been hard at work on some custom, 3D Spartan armor variants.

Over on Instagram, a user by the name of Chris Mastree Productions has a ton of different 3D renders of Spartan armor variants that range wildly in terms of design. Most of the designs are based on custom Spartan designs from other Instagram users, but even so, the work is incredibly detailed. There’s even a couple of impressive 3D renders of Master Chief andsome characters fromHalo Wars 2included on his account.

It’s clear from the profile alone that Chris Mastree Productions is a massive fan ofHalowith 3D renders of Spartan soldiers, various different characters from differentHalogames, and members ofthe enemy faction known as the Banishedpopulating the user’s account. To the untrained eye, these renders could almost pass off as official character models fromHalo Infinite.

As details surroundingHalo Infinitecontinue to surface, it seems theHalocommunity has been newly revitalized. In fairness, it has been nearly six years since the release ofHalo 5and with a plethora of new features being brought to the table,Halo Infinitelooks to make a major impact on its communityof players. This has given fans of theHaloseries a lot to be excited about.

It will be interesting to see what ultimately becomes ofHalo Infinite. On the one hand, based on what has been shown, the game looks to be incredibly polished, but givenHalo Infinite’sextensive delayand having the game swap between several different game directors over the course of its development cycle, things may not go as smoothly as some might hope at launch. The other element is the fact that neither Microsoft or 343 is willing to commit fully to a launch timeline. Simply saying developers are committed to Holiday 2021 seems to indicate there is more work left to be done.

Halo Infinitereleases this Fall for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
