The next batch of free games with GoogleStadiaPro has been revealed. Players can look forward to some spooky action onStadiain time for Halloween, and also some very highly regarded indies of various genres.
The games will be available on October 1 and throughout the month. The highlight of October’s free games is arguablyDead by Daylight, an asymmetric horror gamethat pits four survivors against one killer. Survivors use flashlights, firecrackers, and a plethora of perks to outsmart the killer in an attempt to stay alive. Meanwhile, the killer has the ability to set traps, wield deadly weapons and helpful perks, and use the environment to take down the survivors one-by-one.Dead by Daylight’shorror elements make it fit right in with the month of October.

Celestemay be the highest-rated gameof the month’s titles.Celesteis a charming and challenging platformer developed by Matt Makes Games that won numerous awards in 2018 including Best Independent Game at The Game Awards. The game tackles the difficulties of fighting one’s doubt, anxiety, and fear of failure in a colorful and vibrant ar-style.
Superhot: Mind Control Deletewas a surprise releaseearlier this year, as a follow up to the time-based action shooter. The game sees players dodging bullets as if they are inThe Matrix,moving time forward to eliminate a room of enemies. The game is free for anyone who owned the originalSuperhot, but for Stadia users who didn’t try the original, havingMind Control Deletefor free is a nice bonus.
