God of War Ragnarok Valhallais focused on Kratos' past. After receiving an invitation to Valhalla,Kratos begins his adventurein a place that reminds him of his past. While traveling through Valhalla, Kratos has to overcome his mental obstacles.
During their traversal through Valhalla, players will find an old weapon, namelythe Blade of Olympus, whichKratos wielded inGod of War 2and3. The blade was a part of Kratos' past, and players can actually find it in Valhalla, although they will have to reach a certain point in the story to unlock it.

How To Unlock Blade of Olympus
First, players have tobegin the Homecoming mission. In this particular quest, Kratos finds Helios' head, and he needs to put it inside a cage and then push it toward the incinerator. However, many mobs will spawn in an attempt tostop Kratos from doing so. Players should have no trouble whatsoever dealing with them.
Just before reaching the room with the incinerator, the gate will close, and more enemies will spawn. Following the scene, a prompt will appear on the screen asking players to press the R3 button and L3 button together. This will unleash a new rage mode in whichKratos will have the Blade of Olympus.

After using it for the first time, players can select it again once they reach the shore. Go tothe Spartan Rage selector, which is located near thestairs leading to Valhalla. Scroll down and pressthe X button to select Legacy. While in this mode, players can use the R1, R2, L1, and Triangle buttons to fight. It is possible to restore rage while the Legacy mode is active. Players simply have to parry incoming attacks with the L1 button and kill the enemies. It allows players to recover part of their health. Both of these things make it easier touse the Blade of Olympusmultiple times during a run.
Needless to say,the Blade of Olympusis a fearsome weapon that can be used to wipe out enemies with ease. The health and rage recovery options make it the best choice for the trials in Valhalla. It can even be turned off if players do not need it anymore.
