AGenshin Impactplayer has shared a hilarious video that shows an enormous model of the popular Cryo bow user Ganyu sitting between Liyue’s mountains. Liyue was the second region added to the world of Teyvat and for a long time it was the largest nation in the game until HoYoverse added the recent Sumeru expansions.
Genshin Impact’s Geo nation has produced many iconic characters that helped the Geo Archon repel attacks from various enemies including the Abyss Order, the Fatui Harbingers, and even ancient gods. One of those legendary characters is Ganyu, the half-qilin Adeptus that serves as the general secretary of the Liyue Qixing.

A Reddit user named H4xolotl has posted an interesting video that shows an unnaturally large model of Ganyu. The post attracted a lot of attention as the whole thread reached over 6.4k upvotes on the official subreddit with many fans wondering how this was accomplished. While some fans speculate that it could be caused by a bug, the majority seem to think that this was recorded on a private server which allows players to manipulate many aspects of the game including the size of character models. The second part of the video shows Ganyu standing near Liyue Harbor and some fans jokingly claim that she is here to avenge Osial,the ancient sea monster that was defeated by Moraxduring the famous Archon War thousands of years ago.
Ganyu has been a part of the game since version 1.2 which also introduced the famous Mondstadt alchemist Albedo. At the time of her release, she was widely considered the best bowDPS character inGenshin Impactthanks to a unique mechanic on her Charged Attack that allows her to deal tons of Cryo damage.
Her Elemental Burst also makes Ganyu a good sub-DPS character, especially if it’s combined with other powerful AoE effects such asVenti’s Wind’s Grand Ode. Players who want to add Ganyu to the roster can do so by wishing on the current Limited Character Banner that also features the new Dendro user Baizhu, as well as a new four-star character named Kaveh.
Even though Ganyu is still considered an S-tier character,recentGenshin Impactrevenue reportshave revealed that her double banner sales are not as great as many players might have thought. At the moment, the Baizhu and Ganyu double banner is placed in the top 10 worst-performing banners in the game’s history.
