Genshin Impactallows players to combine up to four different characters in their party and these playable units can be divided by their role within a team composition, from main DPS, to supports and healers. There are certain characters whose kits like Zhongli who fills the role of a shielder while also being one of the best nuke supports in the game thanks to his Elemental Burst, Planet Befall. A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit claims that healers will become more relevant inthe upcoming Fontaine region. While the leak does not specify what exactly will impact their relevance, fans have multiple theories. One of them claims that healers will be useful during the new diving mechanic that was teased in the recent Special Program event.
There is a chance that the game could introduce a new bar just for diving that indicates the amount of air the character has left during this activity. Once this bar runs out, they will probably start losing health slowly which is whenGenshin Impacthealerscan become a game-changer and extend the period players can remain underwater.
With each new major update, HoYoverse tries to impact the way the game’s character meta works. For example, the skills of most characters from Sumeru scale with Elemental Mastery, a stat that was neglected by many players before the Dendro nation arrived. When it comes to Fontaine’s overall design, recentGenshin Impactleaks reveal that it will feature a twin-city concept.
The two parts of the main city of Fontaine will apparently be in conflict which could be one of the main issues that needs to be resolved in the upcoming Archon Quest. Rumors also claim thatthe Hydro Archon Focalorswill have the ability to affect gravity with his Elemental Burst.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
