Summary

Fortniteleakers have shared some details about new Mythic items coming in the game’s crossover event withAvatar: The Last Airbender. TheFortniteevent is expected to launch sometime in mid or late April.

ApreviousFortniteleak revealed plentyof details about the collaboration, which ends on May 3, according to the game’s files. The event offers a mini-pass where users can unlock an Aang skin, Appa glider, and more. Apparently, the Aang skin is an instant unlock, but it could be exclusive to the event’s premium reward track. The glider is the event’s final reward, which can be unlocked by collecting all six “Books” through completing various quests. New details have emerged as dataminers discover more about the event.

Fortniteleaker Wensoing revealed that theAvatarevent introduces four new “Power” Mythics, including one that comes with a super jump ability and some sort of wheel. During the event, these Mythics can be obtained through five special chests. Four of the chests spawn a specific Mythic while the fifth spawns a random one. The Mythics can also be looted from regular chests, drones, or supply drops, although the regular chest odds are quite low at 5%. Some fans have wondered whether the four new Mythic Powers could be related toAvatar’s bending techniques, which consist of water, earth, air, and firebending. Also,Fortniteleaker Hypex said that the crossover features “at least 2-3 more” skins in addition to Aang and Korra.

New Details of Fortnite’s Avatar Crossover Event

The first set of quests forFortnite’s Korra skinwill be available on April 2, which is a couple of weeks ahead of theAvatarevent’s larger mini-pass if the leaks are accurate. Fans will need to have the battle pass unlocked to earn the Korra skin, similar to last season’sMetal Gear Solidcrossover that allowed battle pass owners to unlock a Solid Snake skin. However, the mini-pass, which is separate from the Korra skin and its quests, will likely feature a non-premium reward track that is available to all users.

The rumoredAvatarmini-pass might remind fans ofFortnite’sTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtleeventfrom last season. The event included a mini-pass that allowed fans to unlock aTMNT-inspired back bling, glider, weapon wrap, and more for free. Those who purchased the mini-pass' premium track could also unlock a Shredder skin and other items. It’s likely that theAvatarevent will utilize a similar format.

Another recentFortniteleak revealed some bigchanges potentially coming to the game’s monthly Crew subscription. The leaked survey showed that Epic is considering some new benefits for the service, such as early access to Shop items, an XP multiplier, exclusive quests with rewards, and more.
