Just because the main story is over, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still plenty of things for players to do inForspoken. Chapter 13 serves as an epilogue of sorts, providing players with an opportunity to track down any points of interest they may have missed prior tothe fight with Susurrus at the end of Chapter 12.

In addition to this, there’s a small amount of post-game content inForspoken, with players gaining access to seven new Detours in Cipal during the game’s thirteenth chapter. They’ll also be able to complete any of the cat chase detours they may have missed earlier on, allowing them to complete their collection of Poppets.

Completing Detours

Of the 21 Detours that are initiated in Cipal, players will be able to tackle 15 of them during the post-game. These include nine Chasing the Cat Detours and New Perspectives, which is unlocked automatically during Chapter 4 and requires players to snap photographs at 50 different spots throughout Athia and then show them to the kids in Cipal. The other five areDetours that only become available in Chapter 13, one of which takes the form of a boss gauntlet.

Finding Points of Interest

In addition to completing detours, players will be able to track down any points of interest that they may have missed or skipped over prior to the final showdown with Susurrus. There are almost 500 of these in total, so those hoping to complete everything that the game has to offer are going to have their work cut out for them. Thankfully, only some of these points of interest (those written in bold font below) have Trophies/Achievements attached to them.

Every Point of Interest in Forspoken

Acquiring Gear

Gear not only serves to make Frey stronger, but it’s also tied to one of the game’s Trophies/Achievements. Finding all non-missable pieces of equipment will unlock Kit and Caboodle, though doing so is no easy task. There are 25 Cloaks, 15 Necklaces, and 30 Nail Designs, most of which can be acquired in the post-game. The only real exceptions are pieces of gear that players unlock automatically as part of the main story and two Necklaces that are tied to a time-limited Detour in Chapter 7 anda missable Event near the beginning of Chapter 10respectively. Thankfully, neither of these Necklaces is needed for the Trophy/Achievement.

Maxing Out Frey’s Magic

Players will beintroduced to Spellcraft Challenges during Chapter 4and will likely have completed many of them by the time they reach the post-game. However, those hoping to unlock the Above and Beyond Trophy/Achievement will need to complete all 105 Spellcraft Challenges. This can only be done after unlocking every skill and spell, which itself will require a whopping 3,200 Mana. Thankfully, Mana can be found quite easily while out exploring Athia, while most Spellcraft Challenges can be farmed in any area in which large groups of enemies spawn in. Of course, those that are near fast-travel locations are obviously better than those that aren’t.
