Pool is a game that has been played for over 100 years, with Billiards going back even further. There are four types of balls on a standard pool table; the dangerous 8-ball, the cue ball, striped balls called “liquids,” and colored balls dubbed “solids.” This Reddit user has collected and meticulously placed every ball on the pool table in theirFallout 4SanctuarySettlement. This process took “forever,” because the player wished to align the balls as they would be in a game of pool. Although the pool table has a rack that would normally be used to bring all the balls together in a triangular shape, the rack can’t fit all the balls.

Beyond the racking issues, the pool balls are too big to fit in the holes on the table which makes playing the game impossible. Due to the game’s physics, these balls could also be displaced by nearby explosions orFallout 4NPCsbumping into them, which could set the player back even more time. Settlements can be invaded by Raiders too, which adds a whole new dynamic to the potential damages the base could incur. According to MinimumParfait7835, the idea to set up their pool table comes from playing pool with family members and a desire to commemorate those memories in the game.
