Lighting a candle at a memorial might not be the most important mission inDying Light 2, but it would be hard to say that any mission has more implications about the setting. The lore-hungry fans of the game will get to find out the history of Villedor; or, at least, one version of that history.

Before the quest is completed, though, gamers will have to sweep the area and attempt to piece together some evidence that talks about the massacre. The professor will fill in some of the gaps, butDying Light 2enthusiasts will need to decide from themselves how much they believe him.
First Piece Of Evidence
The first piece of evidence is directly in front of the memorial on the left side. It’s a smaller brass plaque embedded in the marble that contains an extremely brief synopsis of the March Massacre. The professor will fill Aiden in on some extra details that he’s trying to preserve.

This is not a safe zone, so before conducting the investigation, it could be prudent to attack any threats for somequick combat experience points. Nobody needs to be getting attacked while they are studying history, battle and education are a tough combination to balance.
Second Piece Of Evidence
There are great times to get somefast parkour experiencebut this will not be one of those times. The second piece of evidence is on the same slab of marble as the first, just closer to the right side when facing the memorial structure.

There are a few brass plates with names, but Aiden should look at the third and final plate to see the investigate icon pop up. Once again, there will be a discussion about what happened that day and who passed away between Aiden and the professor.
Third Piece of Evidence
The last piece of evidence is the toughest since it’s just outside of the memorial square. From the plaque used for the second piece of evidence, look directly to the right and notice a tree with a magnifying glass icon on it. Head around to the back and spot the bullet holes.
True to the formula, Aiden and the professor will have a lively question and answer session about the events of that day. Afterward, players can finally light the candle to honor the victims. Doing so will complete the quest.
