Some are more difficult to gather than others and some need specific tools to be collected. Luckily, Rice in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be bought as seeds and planted within any Biome. Additionally, the Dreamlight Rice isn’t that far off in the game, so players can obtain them quite early by paying the required Dreamlight to Merlin, the Great Wizard.
How To Get Rice In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Rice can be bought from Goofy’s shop once players open it in the Glade of Trust. One bag of Rice Seed costs 35 Star Coins inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Upon planting the seeds, they need 50 minutes to grow.
It’s crucial to note that any ingredient takes less time to fully grow if the material is planted in its own Biome. In Rice’s case,planting the ingredient in the Glade of Trust will speed up the growing processas indicated by the green arrow on the seeds' bag when planting them. Harvestingone Rice crop inDisney Dreamlight Valleyrewards Saviors with two Dreamlight Valley Rice, which is definitely convenient.

Some oftheseDisney Dreamlight Valleydishesare impossible to cook early on, as the requested ingredients can only be acquired in late-game areas. Also, many of the meals have some kind of fish in them, so hanging out with a friend that has a Fishing Bonus will greatly increase the number of fish when collecting. Having a high friendship level with said character also helps.
There are no specific characters that have a Fishing Bonus, so it’s the player’s choice. Upon reaching level two withany character inDisney Dreamlight Valley, Saviors will have the choice to pick a Hangout Bonus.
How To Unlock Glade Of Trust In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To Unlock the Glade of Trust inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players need to pay Merlin 5,000 Dreamlight. Glade of Trust is right next to Peaceful Meadows and, like any other biome, it has a different atmosphere, characters, and ingredients.
One part of it is inaccessible as there are Mushrooms blocking the way. The Powerful Wizard Merlin must upgradeplayers' Watering Can inDisney Dreamlight Valleyto remove the Mushrooms.
Other than the fact that Rice will become available from Goofy’s Stall along with othermaterials inDisney Dreamlight Valley, Mother Gothel fromTangledwill be introduced as a new character. Completing her quest will save the Glade of Trust from the Forgetting and reveals the Ruler’s identity that once ruled the valley and then disappeared.

The process can be rather time-consuming, so patience is a crucial factor.
The quickest way to earn Dreamlight is by completing Dreamlight Duties under the Dreamlight Tab in the Main Menu. These duties are typically small and quick, rewarding players 50 to 300 Dreamlight. There are other categories like Foraging, Gardening, and Fishing with plenty of tasks to earn extra Dreamlight.
